Mona Z. Hanna presented on, “When Bad Stuff Happens: Best Practices for Managing Potentially Catastrophic Claims” at the Resort Hotel Association’s Annual Conference, which took place at The Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach, CA on July 12, 2016. She explored how to stave off and respond to a class action lawsuit that could erupt from a potentially catastrophic claim, such as carbon-monoxide poisoning, Legionnaire’s, Norovirus, dram shop claims, and cyber breach. She educated attendees on how to raise their awareness of potential threats, issues and vulnerabilities and develop a roadmap to successful risk management.
