Pro Bono

M&R serves our community in many different ways. This includes volunteering our legal services for the benefit of several non-profits committed to the greater good.

We handle scores of pro bono cases. In our ongoing effort to help the underserved and our environment, we’ve partnered with the following organizations:

Bet Tzedek

Angel City Sports creates and provides adaptive sports opportunities, regionally and nationally, for adults, children and veterans with physical differences and impairments. It does so in collaboration with programs such as US Paralympics, Adaptive Sports USA, USA Volleyball, US Tennis Association and USA Track and Field.

Bet Tzedek is nationally recognized as a leader in providing legal services to low-income seniors, including handling elder abuse issues and ensuring the elderly know their rights so they can protect their homes. The organization also protects low-wage workers when they are illegally denied wages or other benefits.

The Ronald McDonald House of Charities helps alleviate some of the financial burdens placed upon families with sick children. Over the years, the charity has facilitated annual savings of $930 million in lodging and meal costs alone.

Working with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, we represent children and low-income individuals in a variety of litigation matters.

Public Counsel's Appellate Self-Help Clinic serves indigent appellate civil litigants acting in pro per in the Second Appellate District.

Lawyers for a Sustainable Economy provides legal services to entrepreneurs and environmental non-profits working on sustainability projects. The organization is primarily focused on transactional work, including incorporation, corporate governance, and contracts.
