Hooman Yazhari

Hooman Yazhari is a partner in M&R’s Dallas office and member of the firm’s Restructuring and Corporate Practice Groups. In that capacity, he plays a pivotal role in providing client service excellence and driving business and growth throughout M&R’s offices in California, Texas, New York, and globally.

With over 25 years of experience leading private equity-backed and public companies as a general counsel, chief executive officer, and chairman in diverse industries and geographies, Hooman has made corporate transformation a particular focus, having guided multiple global enterprises through Chapter 11 as well as out-of-court restructurings across a variety of international jurisdictions. He has also overseen significant company-defining transitions such as rapid growth and roll ups, strategic pivots, mergers, acquisitions, fundraisings, and initial public offerings.

In terms of industry expertise, Hooman’s spans general transportation, aviation, logistics, infrastructure, energy, outsourcing, industrials, specialty finance and leasing, private equity, and venture capital. He holds a law degree from Oxford University, Jesus College, and an LL.M in Corporate and Commercial Law from the London School of Economics.
