On December 15, 2017, Dana Kravetz was quoted extensively in the Los Angeles Daily Journal’s article, “NLRB voids rule on joint liability.” In the front-page piece, Mr. Kravetz commented on the NLRB’s reversal of the landmark ruling in Browning-Ferris Industries, which serves to limit when parent companies are liable for the alleged violations of their subsidiaries. In so doing, Mr. Kravetz recognized that the NLRB’s decision, while welcomed by employers, will not stop parent companies from closely examining subsidiary contracts.
