A particular strength of his practice is Hatch-Waxman litigation. In these cases, he has represented some of the world’s largest generic pharmaceutical manufacturers, as well as emerging branded companies preparing to bring their first products to market. Beyond the courtroom, Tom helps clients navigate the FDA’s complex regulatory framework, advising on issues affecting NDA, ANDA and 505(b)(2) approvals and the strategic considerations that can determine the success of a product launch. Earlier in his career, he clerked for the Honorable Ruggero J. Aldisert of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. A frequent author and speaker on developments in intellectual property law, Tom has presented at ACI’s annual Paragraph IV Disputes Conference and was recognized by the Los Angeles Daily Journal as a featured contributor in the field of intellectual property.
