Hooman Yazhari helps businesses navigate transformational moments, having led global enterprises from distressed to good, and good to great. He has more than 25 years of executive and board leadership experience and brings a business-first and holistic perspective to complex legal matters.

Over the years, Hooman has built global enterprises across multiple jurisdictions in a variety of company defining moments. He has executed on operational and balance sheet restructurings, turnarounds, strategic renewals, M&A, IPOs, change of control transactions, capital raises, and industry roll-ups. Hooman is also the co-founder of several investment funds in venture capital and private credit. His sector expertise includes leasing and asset finance, aviation, transportation and logistics, asset management, infrastructure, energy and energy transition, private equity and venture capital.

Previously, Hooman served as a CEO, chairman, general counsel, and other C-level executive positions for multiple private equity-backed and publicly listed companies—roles that inform his pragmatic, forward-looking approach to legal and business counsel. Now at Michelman Robinson, Hooman is one of the primary architects of our international expansion, having spearheaded the launch of the London office—a strategic move that allows the firm to directly serve its international client base from one of the world’s most influential legal and financial centers.
