Robyn L. Sandak

Robyn Sandak is of counsel in M&R’s New York office and a valued member of the firm’s Corporate, M&A, Securities & Real Estate Practice Group. She has a proven expertise in the purchase and sale of music companies and music related assets including copyrights, income streams and name and likeness rights. With a deep knowledge of both the music business and market M&A deal terms, Robyn represents music publishing companies, record labels, private equity, investment funds, songwriters, composers, artists, and trusts and estates in connection with buy-side and sell side equity and asset transactions.

Additionally, as a trusted advisor, Robyn counsels clients on optimal corporate structures for their business endeavors, and negotiates and drafts complex operating, stockholder, joint-venture agreements, a variety of commercial agreements, executive employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.

Previously, Robyn was a DJ, spinning house, pop, and hip hop—the old school way.
