Aaron Plesset

Aaron Plesset is an associate awaiting bar results in M&R’s Orange County office and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He assists more senior lawyers in cases involving patent, trademark and copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation and related actions such as malicious prosecution and violations of the False Claims Act. He does so on behalf of clients across industries.

Prior to joining M&R, Aaron was a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Steven Z. Perren of the California Court of Appeal, Second District, and a Senior Research Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. While working for the latter, he co-authored and published two articles in Liberty Street Economics: “COVID-19 and the Search for Digital Alternatives to Cash” and “The Money Market Mutual Fund Liquidity Facility.”

As a student at UCLA School of Law, he held several leadership positions, including Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Technology and board member of the Jewish Law Students Association.
