Seth Darmstadter, our Office Managing Partner in the Chicago, has been named by Crain’s Chicago Business as a 2023 Notable Litigator. The annual listing recognizes top litigators and trial attorneys in the Chicago metro area for their success and accomplishments over the last 18 months. We congratulate Seth for the recognition, the extraordinary work he continues to do on behalf of his remarkable roster of clients, and for his efforts to elevate M&R’s profile and reach in the Windy City.

Here’s to Lara Shortz, who the Los Angeles Business Journal has recognized yet again as one of the most influential women attorneys in the city.

Today is a special day for M&R in Dallas. The firm has taken up occupancy in new office space on the 17th floor of the Crescent business complex, a landmark in Dallas’ Uptown.

The move demonstrates our commitment to the market in Dallas and throughout the Southwest, and we anticipate big things in the Big D going forward. For those unfamiliar with the area, the Crescent is centrally located and, as the name suggests, features iconic half-moon windows that anchor the space.

Not only is the move a boon for our Dallas team—Ashley Moore, Matt Yarbrough, Jason Blackstone and Richard Kim—it also bodes well for M&R’s planned growth in the city. The new offices are as beautiful as they are functional and should give us a leg up in attracting top legal talent to the firm.

Of course, our new home at the Crescent is also a wonderful space to host clients. That said, if you find yourself in Dallas, we welcome your visit.
