Riley Shapiro is a member of the Commercial & Business Litigation Practice Group. In that capacity, she drafts pleadings and dispositive motions, conducts extensive legal research, manages written and electronic discovery, prepares witnesses, and helps position cases for efficient resolution.

After finishing her second year of law school, Riley worked with the firm as a summer associate. In addition, while at UCLA School of Law, she researched challenges facing self-represented litigants in high-volume civil cases for a project contributing to the American Law Institute’s Principles of the Law for High-Volume Civil Adjudication. She also competed in moot court and participated in Trial Advocacy, with her team ranking third in the nation during her 3L year at TYLA, the country’s most prestigious law school trial competition. Riley was also a staff member of the UCLA Law Review and a member of the national honorary organization, The Order of Barristers, which recognizes outstanding oral advocacy and brief writing skills. As an undergraduate at UCLA, Riley competed nationally in mock trial, served as team captain, and later coached the program.
