Shaina L. Kinsberg

Shaina Kinsberg is a Contract Attorney at M&R and member of the firm’s Employment Practice Group. In that capacity, she represents employers and management in a range of employment-related disputes, with an emphasis on single plaintiff litigation involving sexual harassment, wrongful termination, discrimination and related claims. What Shaina especially enjoys is finding the cracks in a plaintiff’s case, whether that be through her meticulous review of employment and medical records or by shining a light on contradictory witnesses. Indeed, if there is an unsavory fact that a plaintiff is seeking to cover up, Shaina is sure to identify and use it to her client’s every possible advantage.

Another thing Shaina prides herself on is her ability to build relationships with clients, as well as opposing counsel, and leveraging them to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently whenever possible. Yet when amicable resolutions are not in the cards, Shaina is a fierce litigator, having honed her skills through years of experience and training. She also provides general advice and counsel to businesses in conjunction with her litigation pursuits. Having earned a MBA prior to her law degree, Shaina understands the unique business and legal ramifications associated with lawsuits and the need for concise policies to reduce the risk of litigation or, at the very least, a client’s legal exposure.

Shaina attended—and was awarded a JD from—Southwestern Law School, where she was a member of the law review.
