Mariah Vitali is an associate in M&R’s New York City office and member of the firm’s International Arbitration & Trade, White-Collar Defense, and Commercial & Business Litigation Practice Groups. In that capacity, she handles all phases of litigation, including legal research, law and motion, the drafting of pleadings and discovery, and trial preparation.
With a busy caseload that encompasses complex commercial actions across industries, Mariah also maintains an active pro bono practice. By way of example, she has worked on matters affecting immigrants and drafted and served as point person for a prisoner complaint.
Prior to joining M&R, Mariah honed her litigation skills as an associate with an AmLaw 100 firm, and before that, as a paralegal at an international law firm and New York-based litigation boutique. She received her B.A., with departmental honors, from Vassar College, where she won the Clyde and Sally Griffen Prize for excellence in American History. Thereafter, Mariah earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School. While at Columbia, she was member of the Human Rights Law Review, served as a Civil Procedure Teaching Assistant, and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
