Crystal J. Fryman
An associate in Michelman & Robinson, LLP’s (M&R’s) Los Angeles office, Crystal Fryman is a member of the firm’s Commercial & Business Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Fryman counsels clients during all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation. She supports the litigation team by writing motions and briefs, performing legal research, preparing discovery requests and responses, drafting evidentiary objections, as well as conducting client and witness interviews.
While attending the UCLA School of Law, Ms. Fryman served as President of the Disability Law Society; 3L Student Representative on the Task Force on Learning Environment and Diversity; and Unemployment Benefits Hearing Representative for the Trial Advocacy Clinic.
During law school, Ms. Fryman engaged in a variety of public interest activities, including: as a volunteer at the Bet Tzedek Advance Healthcare Directive Clinic; a Summer Associate for the Homeless Advocacy Project; a Law Clerk at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles; and a Guardian ad litem for a foster child as part of the Court Appointed Special Advocate program.
Prior to joining M&R, Ms. Fryman gained experience analyzing corporate tax exposure and successor liabilities in mergers on behalf of Fortune 500 clients. She prepared tax research opinion letters and tax due diligence reports for global restructuring, and analyzed domestic and foreign tax returns.
