Christopher Chiang is an associate in M&R’s Los Angeles office and member of the firm’s Class Action & Complex Litigation Practice Group. In that capacity, he represents clients in state and federal courts as well as at arbitration and mediation.
Day in and day out, Christopher counsels clients during all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation. He supports the litigation team by writing motions and briefs, performing legal research, preparing discovery requests and responses, drafting evidentiary objections, as well as conducting client and witness interviews.
While in law school at UCLA, Christopher’s paper, “Copyright Protection Designed for Music’s Illusory Innovation Space: A Sliding Scale Framework of Broad to Thin Protection,” won him the Grammy Entertainment Law Initiative Writing Competition and a $10,000 scholarship, and was published in Entertainment and Sports Lawyer, a publication of the American Bar Association.
