Matthew Lee-Own is an associate in M&R’s Chicago office and member of the firm’s Class Action & Complex Litigation Practice Group. In that capacity, he represents clients in state and federal courts as well as at arbitration and mediation.
Day in and day out, Matthew counsels clients during all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation. He supports the class action and complex litigation team by writing motions and briefs, performing legal research, preparing discovery requests and responses, drafting evidentiary objections, as well as conducting client and witness interviews.
While in law school, Matthew was an associate editor of the Northwestern Journal of Law and Social Policy. For two years after graduating from Northwestern Law, he honed his courtroom skills as a law clerk and judicial assistant for the Honorable Ann Walsh Bradley of the Supreme Court of Wisconsin.
