Joe Hargis is an associate in M&R’s Orange County office and member of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Cybersecurity & Privacy Practice Groups. His work focuses on patent and trade secret litigation, along with the representation of clients relative to data breach and privacy issues.
As a law student at UCLA, Joe was a Managing Editor of the Entertainment Law Review. He also externed for the Honorable Thomas J. Whelan, Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California; the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California; and the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation.
Prior to embarking on his legal studies, Joe served as a Supply Officer in the United States Navy.
