David Dehoney is a Partner in M&R’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Practice Groups. His work encompasses a wide range of disputes, including those arising in the energy, technology, finance and insurance spaces.
Over the years, David has participated in trials and hearings in breach of contract, tort, intellectual property, and securities cases, and he has represented clients before numerous federal district and appellate courts, arbitrations in a variety of forums, and state trial and appellate courts in New York, New Jersey, Delaware and West Virginia. He also handles sensitive investigations, having been involved in internal inquiries and audits for institutions in the U.S., Switzerland, Israel and other foreign jurisdictions.
In addition, David is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and has significant counseling experience in cybersecurity & privacy matters. These include international data protection and cross-border transfers.
Prior to joining M&R, David honed his litigation and investigative skills at one of the most prestigious international law firms in New York. He worked as a law clerk at Kim & Chang, the largest law firm in Korea, as well.
