Brandy Alonzo-Mayland

Brandy Alonzo Maryland is an associate in M&R’s Los Angeles office and member of the firm’s Commercial & Business Litigation Practice Group. She represents clients in state and federal courts as well as at arbitration and mediation.

Day in and day out, Brandy works on behalf of clients in all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation. She supports the litigation team by writing motions and briefs, performing legal research, preparing discovery requests and responses, drafting evidentiary objections, as well as conducting client and witness interviews.

At UCLA School of Law, Brandy was Class President (2021-2022) and a Latinx Student Leader. While an undergraduate at California Lutheran University, her student thesis, “Illustrating the Complexity of Constitutional Interpretation Through the Scope of Two Schools of Literary Criticism,“ was accepted for presentation at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research.
