Mona Hanna Named to Daily Journal’s Top Women Lawyers in California for 2017

Mona Hanna has been named to the Daily Journal’s list of Top Women Lawyers in California for 2017, which recognizes women with outstanding achievements within the legal community.

She was distinguished for her incredible work in several recent class action matters, including King v. National General Insurance Co., et al. (asserting claims of first impression involving the primary jurisdiction doctrine); Blaha v. Rightscorp, et al. (a highly publicized case alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Digital Millennium Copyright Act subpoena procedure); Colin v. Adriana’s Insurance Services, et al. (a wage and hour class action successfully resolved once Mona was able to get the case ordered to binding arbitration); and Landaverde v. Norman Industrial Materials, Inc. (another  wage and hour class action, this one favorably settled at mediation).

The Daily Journal’s acknowledgement is the latest in a series of accolades for Mona. For three years running, she has been named in the “Best Lawyers in America USA Guide;” earlier this year Mona was selected by Best Lawyers as the Insurance Litigation “Lawyer of the Year” for Orange County; and The Legal 500 called her an “excellent trial lawyer, one of the best in the OC.”
