Michelman & Robinson Representing Plaintiff David Lowery Against Spotify in a $150 Million Class Action Over Unpaid Royalties

Michelman & Robinson, LLP (M&R) was mentioned in the Billboard article, “Spotify Hit With $150 Million Class Action Over Unpaid Royalties,” on December 29, 2015, for our representation of musician David Lowery of bands Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven.  M&R, on behalf of Lowery, has filed a class action lawsuit seeking at least $150 million in damages against Spotify, alleging it knowingly, willingly, and unlawfully reproduces and distributes copyrighted compositions without obtaining mechanical licenses.
