Michelman & Robinson Names Dana A. Kravetz Its New Firm Managing PartnerPDF
Michelman & Robinson, LLP (“M&R”) announced that Dana A. Kravetz has assumed the role of Firm Managing Partner from Sanford L. Michelman, effective January 1, 2010. Sanford Michelman is a founder of the Firm and served as Managing Partner since its inception.
Mr. Kravetz, who was elected to succeed Michelman by the Firm’s Executive Committee, brings incomparable management experience and leadership qualities to his new position. He has acted as the Firm’s Administrative Partner and the Managing Partner of M&R’s flagship Los Angeles office for the past five years. While serving in these capacities, Mr. Kravetz played a pivotal role in the firm’s expansion into a host of new legal markets, including Sacramento, New York and New Jersey. Now, Mr. Kravetz will oversee the Firm’s daily operations.

Mr. Michelman, helmed M&R through several key periods of maturation. During his tenure, M&R experienced substantial growth in terms of client matters, attorneys, practice areas and offices. The firm now boasts thirteen legal departments, six office locations and an outstanding group of attorneys. He led M&R’s expansion from a regional California firm to one with a national presence during the height of the nation’s economic crisis. M&R opened its New York office last April and today, it has doubled in size.
