Michelman & Robinson, LLP Expands Its Digital Media and Entertainment Law Practice with New Partner

Michelman & Robinson, LLP (“M&R”) is pleased to announce that acclaimed digital media and entertainment lawyer David Chidekel has joined the firm as a partner in its New York office. He is the fourth new partner to be hired at M&R this spring.

With a “who’s-who” client base from the electronic media and gaming, music, film, television, book publishing, and interactive entertainment industries, Mr. Chidekel increases M&R’s presence in the digital media area and raises it profile in entertainment law.

Mr. Chidekel has acted as an advisor and consultant to various digital media and technology companies, analyzed business and investment opportunities in that space, and helped found a quantitative equity fund targeted toward building a diversified portfolio of film investments. He brings both a legal and strategic business background to M&R with his knowledge of, and involvement in, virtually all aspects of the entertainment and digital media industries.

He has also served as a moderator and a panelist at several music conference, South by Southwest among them; is an Adjunct Professor of Entertainment Law at Hofstra University School of Law; and a frequent guest lecturer at Pace University and Benjamin N. Cardozo Schools of Law.
