Michelman & Robinson Expands Corporate & Securities and Real Estate Departments with Addition of Two New Attorneys

Mark Frimmel joined our New York office in September 2014 as a Partner in our Real Estate Department. Mark navigates owners and developers through complex real estate acquisitions and development projects. He also represents landlords and tenants in retail, hospitality, office, health care and industrial leases. Additionally, he has significant experience representing cooperative and condominium housing associations, advises debtors and creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, and has advised Chapter 7 Panel Trustees in asset recovery actions, adversary proceedings and other contested matters.
Dorothy Vinsky joined our Los Angeles office in September 2014 as Senior Counsel in our Corporate & Securities Department. Dorothy frequently advises companies and investors in the negotiation of financing and strategic transactions. She has particular expertise representing development stage companies and investors in venture capital financings. Dorothy has navigated companies through public offerings, acquisitions, and corporate governance matters. She has represented issuers in initial public offerings, including having led a $15 million public offering for Uni-Pixel on NASDAQ. She also acted as general counsel for private companies, where she managed all legal affairs. She advised on complex business transactions and major agreements, including a $30 million asset purchase agreement for the sale of ambulatory surgery centers, as well as joint venture terms sheets and agreements with international business partners, and a major marketing and licensing agreement with the U.S. Olympic Committee.
