September 16, 2016
On September 16, 2016, as part of the Entertainment & Technology Law Conference at New York University, Michael S. Poster moderated a panel discussion entitled, “Slipping Through the Cracks: How Artists and Rightsholders Are Missing Out on Digital Royalties.”
This program explored ways in which artists and rightsholders fail to collect on certain digital royalties, either because they don't actively seek out collection, or the rights are not properly licensed by those who play their music. The program was hosted by the Music Business Association, and part of Mondo.NYC, an annual business summit, festival and digital platform bringing together music, technology and innovation.
