Need a Safe In-Person Meeting Space? M&R’s COVID-19 Conference Room Resource

SEPTEMBER 21, 2020

Times continue to be challenging as we as a nation navigate the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic upon our daily lives. On the plus side, COVID-19 case counts are showing signs of stabilizing in many states; our heroic medical professionals are getting a better handle on effective therapeutics and treatments; companies large and small and from coast to coast are slowly but surely rebounding; and workplaces are increasingly reintegrating. Still, many businesses have yet to resume even a semblance of normal operations, with Zoom and similar video platforms filling the void in terms of both internal- and external-facing in-person meetings.

While Zoom and the like have been an absolute godsend for the past several months, technology is not the perfect substitute for face-to-face connections. That being said, Michelman & Robinson, LLP wants to step in on behalf of our friends and clients to facilitate safe, responsible, and socially distant in-person meetings for those without the facilities to hold them.

We have multiple conference rooms in our Los Angeles, Orange County (California), and New York City offices that can be configured to provide six-foot separation between occupants. If you are in need of a meeting place and would like to utilize the available spaces in any one of these three locations, we are happy to make arrangements for you to do so. Simply contact Fernando Montoya at fmontoya@mrllp.com to schedule.

You should note that to ensure everyone’s well being, conference room occupancy limitations for meetings have been implemented firmwide so as to abide by recommended physical distancing requirements—those that typically occupy 12 people have been repurposed for a maximum of six, spaces for eight are now set up for four, and conference rooms with a capacity for five are now are capped at two or three people. Also, M&R has in place other safety protocols for all employees and visitors, including temperature screening upon arrival at any office.

We firmly believe that now is the time to come together and support one another when we can. Hopefully, our offer to use the firm’s conference rooms is a helpful start toward that end.
